Preferred candidates for the Synthetic Organic Chemist position should have work experience in multi-step synthesis of small molecules and should be able to design and develop practical synthetic routes to target compounds. Requirements - Synthetic Organic Chemist

  • A Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry with 0-4 years of pertinent experience, or a B.S./M.S. in Organic Chemistry with >2 years of pertinent experience, in the pharmaceutical or related industries.
  • Job Location: Brevard, NC (on-site only)
  • Experience working in a GMP/GLP regulated environment is a plus

Raybow USA currently has 26 employees working in an 11,400 sq. ft. facility built on 3.5 acres. We are locatedin Transylvania County in Western North Carolina. This mountain county is well known for providing outdoor recreational attractions (60% of the county is state and national forest), an excellent school system and anexcellent quality of life.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday


Supplemental Pay:

  • Bonus pay

Raybow USA (Formerly PharmAgra Labs, Inc.) is the US headquarters for Raybow Pharmaceuticals, a global CDMO expanding into the North American market. Raybow USA is seeking several Analytical Chemists with pharmaceutical experience working in a GMP/GLP regulated environment. The position involves conducting routine analyses as well as developing and validating HPLC and GC methods.

Requirements - Analytical Chemist - Pharmaceutical (on-site)

  • Minimum of a BS degree in chemistry, or a related field
  • Job Location: Brevard, NC (on-site only)
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on pharmaceutical cGMP HPLC and GC experience
  • Experience with other instrumentation (LC/MS, GC/MS, NMR, DSC etc.) or wet chemistry techniques preferred


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Support synthetic chemists in developing analytical methods for R&D and GMP projects
  • Validate analytical methods, primarily HPLC and GC, in accordance with ICH guidance documents
  • Analyze samples of raw materials, in-process controls, final products and on-going stability studies
  • Maintain and qualify instrumentation and equipment in analytical lab and GMP synthesis suite
  • Participate in projects from initiation to completion with frequent customer interaction
  • Generate SOP's, reports and other regulated documentation
